United States Citizens and Permanent Residents Living Outside of the United States ONLY
With the exception of this section, the information and application provided here
is specifically designed for international students living outside of
the United States. United States citizens and permanent residents are required to submit the common application and the supplement.
If English is neither your first language nor the primary language of
instruction you have used throughout school, you must
submit the official results of the TOEFL examination as part of your application
to Lafayette College.
If you are either an American citizen or Permanent Resident living
outside of the United States who wishes to be considered for financial
aid, you must submit the financial aid forms required, specifically
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS/Financial
Aid Profile. Registration information on how to obtain a customized
Profile packet is available from American and International schools
and Education USA advising centers worldwide. Request Lafayette's Financial
Aid brochure for more detailed information about application procedures
and funding possibilities. Lafayette strictly adheres to deadlines for
submission of financial aid applications.
If you are applying for financial aid and your family's income is not
in U.S. Dollars, we request that you complete and submit the International Student
Financial Aid Application (ISFAA), which may be downloaded from the international
financial aid section of this web site, in addition to the FAFSA and CSS/Financial
Aid Profile noted above. Completion of the ISFAA will allow the Financial
Aid Office to do a more accurate needs analysis based on economic circumstances
where your family currently resides.
