Nature (Re)Made: Genomics and Art

A growing number of artists have sought inspiration in genomics and biotechnology, including choreographer Liz Lerman, whose Ferocious Beauty: Genome (to be performed at the Williams Center on November 14. The artists included in Nature (Re)Made conduct explorations revolving around genetic research and the effect of biotechnology in health care and environmental concerns. Early Music Concert
The Marquis Consort, directed by Jorge Torres will perform a program of Music of the Spanish Renaissance. The concert presents songs and instrumental works by Encina, Ortiz and Pisador, as well as traditional works from the Judeo-Spanish repertoire. The concert features Torres, lute and guitar, Meredith Castor ‘10, violin and crumhorn; Sabrina Chen ‘10, voice and percussion; Danyelle Dell'Olio ‘11, voice and percussion; Clara Fisher ‘10, viola da gamba; Raymond Epstein ‘09, four-course guitar; Mikee Phillips ‘11, voice; Laura Pritchard ‘10, voice and flute; Tom Voltz ‘09, guitar. Candlelight Carols & Holy Mass
The Catholic Community welcomes all to our annual College Pre-Christmas celebration. Come early. Carols begin at 9:30 before Mass. The Sacrament of Reconcilation will be available from 9:30 to shortly before Mass at 10:00.
