January 2–25, 2009
Inspired by The Beat Show, exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art in 1995, and juried by Maryann J. These artists, working in the traditions of such notables as Rauschenberg, Cornel, and Kienholz, exhibit altered and assemblage work done with their own fresh perspective. Opening reception with curator's talk: January 11, 2009, 3–5 p.m. (Snow date: January 25) Friday, Jan. 2, 2009
