Inspired by The Beat Show, exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art in 1995, and juried by Maryann J. Riker, Altered and Assembled takes up the tradition of altered art/books and assemblage art/sculpture by artists of today. These artists, working in the traditions of such notables as Rauschenberg, Cornel, and Kienholz, exhibit altered and assemblage work done with their own fresh perspective.

Opening reception with curator's talk:
January 11, 2009, 3–5 p.m.

The Philadelphia Chapter invites you to join Jamie Hughes '05, associate director of alumni affairs and former Lafayette basketball player, for the Lafayette-UPenn men's basketball game.

A limited number of reserved tickets have been purchased exclusively for the Lafayette community and are available for purchase by clicking on the "Register" link following this announcement. Deadline for tickets is Monday, December 29. Tickets will be mailed on December 31.

Plan to join the Lafayette group at a post-game gathering at The New Deck located at 3408 Sansom Street, Philadelphia.
