The transition from high school to college can be exciting, thrilling and sometimes overwhelming. The Orientation Program at Lafayette College is designed to aid in that transition, and make it as smooth as possible for both students and their families. Orientation is a mandatory program for all incoming first-year students and will occur the four days prior to the start of class (Aug 23rd-26th). During these days students will make important connections with their peers, get an introduction to academic expectations, and attend sessions on important campus issues such as sexual assault, alcohol, and online safety. To learn more about the program, please see the schedule below.
The Orientation Leaders, a group of upper-class students chosen for their enthusiasm and knowledge of Lafayette, will be leading students through the orientation program. They will be available at all times to answer questions and assist with the transition to life as a Lafayette student! To learn more about the Orientation Leaders, please visit the link below.
The Orientation Leaders, Faculty, Staff & Administration look forward to welcoming you to campus on August 23rd!
