A special day for potential members of the 187th class to explore life and learning at Lafayette.
As soon as I arrived on campus for XLC, my admissions counselor greeted me by name, and I spent the day getting to know the campus, faculty, and current students. The energy and sense of community on campus was contagious, and by the end of the day, I knew that I had found my home.
At XLC I was lucky enough to see Lafayette come alive on one of the nicest days of spring. XLC showed me everything I love about the Lafayette community, and it became more than just another campus in a brochure. At the end of the day, my mom and I shared a look, and we both knew. I enrolled that day as the admissions staff shook my hand and welcomed me, for the first time, to my new home.
Throughout the process of applying to Lafayette, I knew it was the place for me, but after attending XLC, it really began to sink in. It felt real, and I did not want to leave that day. I caught a glimpse of what being a college student looked and felt like. The energy was ecstatic. XLC proved to me why Lafayette is known for its incredible resources
and academic prestige.
